Allison Chapman-Morris is a lab technologist in the oncology department at Cook County General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated high school at sixteen and received bachelor's degrees in history and medical science from the University of Illinois-Chicago when she was twenty. Her best friends are Andy Hollinsworth and his wife, Joey. Her chief colleagues in the lab are Mark and Brian, who like hiding Jello in out-of-the-way places just to annoy the hell out of her. Her boss is a dragon lady who drinks molten magma shakes for breakfast. After a disastrous crush on Dr. Dubenko, County's chief of surgery, Allison ended up falling for her roommate, Archie Morris, when he displayed a heretofore-unsuspected capacity for kindness towards her. Their relationship has not been a picture-perfect one, but at the end of the day they genuinely love each other, and when Morris asked her to marry him, she said yes. |

Allison is an original character created by the_dibbler (with assistance from stars_fell) for her ER fanfiction "Bases Loaded". The writing done for this journal has deviated from the "Bases Loaded" universe into an alternate one where Allison never dated Dr. Dubenko and instead developed a relationship with Archie Morris. |
